Very same thing, a bit pissed about the FALSE advertising picture. Lesson learned, I will NEVER order from this seller again. This is a SHINY and ugly address book.Very cheap, you get what you pay for. The book brazenly presents coercive restraint (aka Holding Therapy, Rage Reduction, Attachment Therapy, Cuddletime, etc.) as effective therapy, when it is specifically outlawed in most states and is considered unethical by all mental health professional organizations. This book glorifies the sort of brutal treatment of children that child protective workers are meant to investigate and stop. I was blown away that the authors put, at the top of their recommended resources list, a 1995 CBS story "Afraid of Our Children" (48 Hours) where children are literally tortured. See for yourself from this clip: [...] No surprise that all of the other wacky Attachment Therapy beliefs about Reactive Attachment Disorder and child development are also found in these pages. Great reading from

I know personally Paul Gravett, the joint author - and indubitably the leading spirit - of this book, and his personality is a great part of the much that is right and the somewhat that is wrong, or at least problematic, about it. Paul Gravett is quite probably the nicest person on Earth. It is possible to imagine that there may have been, somewhere, some time, one person whom he did not like; yes, possible, but very hard. He could get along with Timon of Athens. He is himself charming and a complete enthusiast about his subject, never tiring of exploring obscure historical byways and discovering forgotten comics and creators. And this book very much reflects his character. One has the impression that no comic book or strip ever published in the three kingdoms has escaped being placed somewhere in these pages, with an appreciative notice and some particularly well-chosen panels. But that is also the problem. Paul loves EVERYTHING; and when everything is brilliant, then nothing is outst

If you want to really know where technology and it's impact is heading, you need to read this book. Unbelievable and extremely interesting, heading you along with the direction of technology and just how it will effect all of us! Simply amazing, well written, and a fantastic read! Don't miss it. Good skull variety Just what I needed for an essay. I was stuck between 4 and 5 stars because Garrett starts off so cocky and it?s hard to like him. Then you know that the book is going to go in the ?girl falls in love with reformed jock? trope. But this book embraced his cockiness and had fun with it. Dual POV. Good amount of sexy scenes but it takes a while to get there. Loved the humor. I have now read 4 Nnedi Okorafor books each one impeccable. her imagery is deep and vibrant, and the stories and engaging complex. She fleshes out her characters and give a fresh view of the supernormal Les Regrets suivis des Antiquités de Rome et du Songe Maikäfer, flieg! : Mein Vater, das Kri

Seemed like around 90% of the story was a rehash of the previous book - if you haven't read the previous book in the series you will enjoy this, but otherwise I find it difficult to recommend Awesome book I would recommend this book over any self-help book any day of the week! I loved it! It is such a fresh perspective! I have no complaints I love really like all Jennifer Ryans books. this one is exceptionally good! I found this book an enjoyable read. The writing is admittedly quite sentimental, but once I realized that's just how people wrote back in the 19th Century, I was able to really appreciate the book a whole lot more. I espeically appreciated Rev. Young's accounts of the various dangers he encountered during the various journeys he undertook as part of his missionary responsibilities to bring the Gospel to Canada's First People - some of his adventures were quite amazing and thrilling! I felt another good thing about this book was how he was able to paint
